Hello, my name is Kayden Charlotin. I was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts. My motivation is to go to a D1 college that helps me find out who I am not just as an athlete but as a student too. I would like to go to either a D1 or D2 school that could help me grow as an athlete and student. I have been playing sports ever since the age of 4.
I started to really get into the game of soccer around the age of 7 or 6 when I played for my first team. I noticed over those two years that I was really good at soccer. I was averaging 2-3 goals a game. I have played other sports like track and basketball. But those sports never stood out to me as soccer did.
Over the preceding time, I started to play High School Soccer on the varsity level as a freshman. I noticed I was doing good for a freshman. I noticed that I was starting over some of our better midfielders and I noticed I was getting more playtime. Our short season sadly ended in the first rounds of playoffs. I managed to get 15 goals during the season. Those goals were followed by hattricks and an MVP award.
From there on out, I started to take soccer seriously and I got recommended to go to the current Club I am playing for right now New England Surf FC. While playing for Surf I have noticed that you have always got to be on point and you always have to stay focused on what's happening in the game and in practice.
In school I have managed to be a STUDENT ATHLETE by managing to keep a 3.00 GPA unweighted and managing to get 85 and above on tests. During these past years of me playing soccer I have learned many life lessons either if it was from my Coaches, Mom, or Dad. I learned how to play with better sportsmanship and overall I learned on how to be a leader on the field and off the field. I have also learned on how to keep a positive attitude even when stuff in games going South.
I have had many experiences and life lessons in soccer and I am hoping to have many new ones at a college that is willing to take me under their wing and help me go pro!
Thank You.
