Jack Walsh '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’ 2”, 170 lb sophomore living in East Longmeadow, MA.  I am currently playing for Coach Andrew Serafino with the Intercontinental Football Academy of New England on their West 2007 Boys EDS team.  This past December our team won all 3 games at the USYS National League P.R.O. tournament held at the Wide World of Sports in Orlando.  In February we will be competing in the next round of this tournament in Tampa, Fla. 

This fall I was the starting left wing for East Longmeadow High School.  This starting position has helped me improve my stamina, strength, speed, and foot skills.   This season gave me a lot of playing time and experience competing against older players.  

I began playing soccer when I was 4 years old.  In the spring of 2015, I began playing for Coach Serafino at the New England Football Club.  For NEFC I played a variety of positions both offensive and defensive and improved all aspects of my game.  

In 2020 I transferred to Juventus Academy Boston West also with Coach Serafino.  My time at Juventus improved my game IQ and speed of play.  I was invited to play for Juventus’ ECNL team in mostly a defensive role and traveled to West Virginia and Florida for the East Coast Regional and National tournaments.  

Not only have all of these experiences improved my soccer ability, I have also learned many important life lessons about grit and determination.  Most importantly I have made life long friends who share my love of this game.  I am looking forward to continuing to improve my skills and competing at higher levels.
