My name is Jack Wilkinson and I'm currently a sophomore at Maynard High School and I consider myself to be a versatile soccer player. Although I started playing soccer a little later than other kids, as soon as I touched the ball I knew this was the sport I wanted to dedicate my focus and full commitment to. Due to my high work rate, endurance, and growth mindset, I train as much as possible which has helped me progress past players who have been playing significantly longer. I have taken leadership roles on both my school and club teams and display great composure, decision-making, and vision in game. The goal of playing in college motivates me to train and become the best player possible. School is also very important to me; I currently average a 4.0 GPA and aim to maintain that throughout my high school career. In addition to playing soccer in college, I hope to focus my studies on business and engineering. My commitment to soccer also extends to the broader community. I am a certified Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association Referee for kids aged 7 and up and I also serve as a volunteer coach for our town kindergarten and Pre- kindergarten soccer program.
