Colin Wesley '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking and driven competitor, whether it is in the classroom, or on the pitch.  As I pursue higher education at a selective school, I will also pursue my dream of playing soccer at the next level.  Ever since I was little, I have had an undeniable passion to play the sport – year-round - outdoor, indoor, futsal, town, travel, club, etc. Therefore, I know the balance of academics and soccer in college will be important to me.

I have been blessed with size and speed, but I also love to train and get better.  Similar to school, when I put the work in, I get results and improve.  My work ethic has led me to becoming a versatile player – one who can play defense, midfield, or striker – a unique trait I take a lot of pride in.  The combination of these things has enabled me to play at a high level with all my teams, and in the end, it is the teamwork and comradery the sport promotes, that has me love the game.
