Matthew Pletcher ...Personal Statement
I am a goal keeper that excels not only on the soccer pitch, but also on the futsal court. This means I have developed the quickness required to be a great GK. I have been to the National Youth Futsal Tournament every year for the past 5 years with Futsal Factory, helping my team win the National Championship in 2022. I am one of only two GK to be chosen to travel overseas nationally recognized futsal teams (NFDP and USYS Futsal program). In addition, I am a team player; I never get angry with errors that my teammates may make but instruct them on how to do better next time. I also excel in the classroom, never shying from taking challenging classwork to better my education.
