My family has always used basketball as healthy competition and a way to build a close connection. Throughout my entire childhood, I watched my father and brother practice basketball everyday. As I grew older and bigger, basketball became a competition between us and a good way to bond. Through basketball, I have learned how to win and how to lose respectfully, and I’ve also learned how to become apart of a team and work together for one common goal. I understand that grades are important. I expect to finish high school with at least a 3.7 GPA. For college, I plan on pursuing a degree in a business related field. As an athlete, I have a high character and the ability to lead. I believe I can help and make a positive impact at any program.
