Michael Zheng '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Zheng. I'm currently a junior at Greenhills School. 

I can play as a winger, fullback, and as a striker. I have played in all of these positions before. I take the majority of set pieces. My strengths are pace, creating space for my teammates by making runs, and crossing. For my senior and final year of high school soccer, I will be one of the captains. Overall, as a player, I am willing to adapt to what a coach wants to do for the team. Most importantly, I believe in having a good work ethic, whether it's in school or soccer. I have never been late to a single practice and always give my 100%. I still attended every practice when I was injured during the high school season. To show my commitment, I found ways to improve myself, such as gym work, recovery work, and being present for the team. During the club season, I do a lot of individual and partner training outside of the scheduled team training. 

In school, I look to challenge myself with multiple AP and Honors classes. I make sure to keep organized and manage my time well in order to perform in extracurriculars and school. I have a strong interest in business and economics.
