Brandon DeSmyter '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and playing in college would be a dream of mine.  I am looking to go to a college where I can get a good education that will carry me the rest of my life.   I have accomplished a lot playing soccer: Three State Cup Finals, All State Player, State of Michigan ODP Team the past 6 years  and the Region II ODP team the past two years, play in the MRL League.  In December 2014 my Super Y team won the U18 Nationals and I was the the starting right back on the team.  I bypassed my senior year of high school soccer to play at a higher lever with Vardar Academy.    I started as a freshman and was first freshman in many years to make the varsity team and start.  While only 5'7" currently I lead the team on winning 50/50 balls and move up from defense on all corner kicks.   Several years in a row I led my club team on goals off corners.  I am hoping that my soccer ability helps me achieve my goal of obtaining a quality education while playing soccer at a higher level.   Landon Donovon, and Dani Alves are two professionals that I look up too because of their height, passion and desire for the game.  I am a hard worker and know the hard work done behind the scenes is what makes you a better player on game day.
