Personal Statement
I started playing soccer seriously when I was eleven years old. When I decided to become a soccer player I realized that it would not only develop my skills and strengths but, it would also help me become a better person with discipline, good health, determination and a very good education that would help me achieve my future goals.
For this reason is why I decided to leave my country and look for the best opportunities and build a solid future academically and athletically.
I have a very good vision to project plays and combined with my ball handling skills I make a strong attack to score for my team. I like to be a team leader encouraging my teammates and always going forward no matter what the situation of the game is. I am very coachable and ready to learn more and more from my coaches. I like to work hard. Throughout the years I have learned that hard work pays off. My extremely desire to win is the one that gets me through the pain and keeps me focused on what I want to achieve in my life.
I also like to maintain a high GPA, which also helps me develop my mind preparing myself for college and to open my mind to have a smart play and to get better every time.
A college where I can push myself in the classroom and field will be a great combination to get to the highest level of competition. My purpose is to become a person with integrity, respect for people and a role model for myself to become better every time, become proud of my work to show my loved ones that if you can dream it then you can do it with hard work, humility and determination.
