My name is Regan Dunn and I am a 5'10" 135 lb. Junior at Smithville High School in Smithville, MO. I have been a starting center midfielder for all of my 3 years at the high school level. Among that, I have many personality traits, team-work skills, and a persistent work-ethic that will make me a valuable contribution to any soccer team and college student body. In life and sports, I strive to be humble, determined, and loyal to everyone around me. Whether it be in the classroom, during practice, in the locker room, or on the playing field, I pride myself in holding true to my values and convictions. No matter the circumstance, location, or time, I always represent my school, team, and coaches with integrity.
Throughout my life, from first getting touches on the ball when I was 4 years old, to nowadays, while playing soccer for my high school team, I have truly loved and embraced the sport of Soccer. Every time I step foot on the field, I feel confident that I will be a key piece in my teams' success. My skill sets make me natural and prepared for the sport. I am extremely athletic with unique agility, foot speed, and endurance. I am a 3-sport varsity athlete, lettering in cross country, track, and soccer. Following the conclusion of my Junior soccer season, I was awarded 1st Team All-District, 1st Team All-Conference, and 1st Team All- Region. My Sophomore season, I was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference, and 2nd Team All-District. Finally, my Freshman year, I was awarded 2nd Team All-District and was a varsity starter every game of the year, except the first game of the season.
For me, sports has always been a central point in my life, often occupying much of my youth and teen years; however, another major aspect of my life is academics. Among being active on the field, I am exceptionally active in the classroom, and take great pride in my education. I currently have a 4.20 GPA with a class rank of 1, and have been recognized by many of my teachers for academic excellence. Among that, I currently am a part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA). In connection with my hard dedication to the sport of soccer, I often find myself giving back to younger children as well, helping them redefine their skillset. Each year, I take part in a clinic which helps kids learn and love the sport of soccer - just like I do.
I know that no matter what challenge I come across, or the score at half time, I will be able to excel at any goal and overcome any challenge due to my grounded outlook and strong work ethic.
