Hello, my name is Hunter White and I am a lifelong soccer player who is interested in continuing my soccer career in college.
I started playing when I was 3 years old and have played travel and club soccer since elementary school. To say that my life has revolved around soccer is to put things lightly. My first two jobs were as a soccer referee, and working in a soccer dome. I'm passionate about soccer and put in the work on my own time to better myself. I have always enjoyed watching the best players I could and analyzing parts of their game that I could develop into my own. I started playing soccer as a forward as I have always had a an attacking playstyle. However as I developed and began to understand parts of the game, I loved the idea of playmaking and tiki taka style soccer which made me a good fit for an outside and attacking midfielder. As of right now I am playing several positions including outside midfielder, winger, striker. and attacking midfielder. If I could describe how I like to play I would say I am obsessed with keeping the ball as a team and like to create with off ball movement. As far as academics go, I want to be an architect and I am strong in the math and science classes. I have always placed high in that category of tests such as the ASVAB and PSAT.
I currently play club soccer with Seacoast United in Bedford NH and Goffstown high school. In July of 2023 I had a great opportunity to play in the Gothia Cup held In Sweden. Our team did very well reaching the top 16 out of 256 teams in our bracket. I had a goal and an assist in that tournament and played as an attacking midfielder. For high school I have been playing varsity since I was a freshman and in my sophomore year I placed highest on my team for goals and assists. I have been primarily playing as an outside midfielder this year and I am off to a strong start with 5 goals and 2 assists in my last 3 games.
I'm interested in speaking with recruiters regarding the possibility of playing in college. While I am willing to stay in the New Hampshire area, I am also interested in pursuing opportunities in the southeastern states as well.
