Xavier Lacoste plays for Big Red, the Varsity Soccer team of The Lawrenceville School in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL).
He had the honour of receiving The John W. King Trophy awarded to The Most Valuable Player award for the 2018 season by the coaching team at The Lawrenceville School. In 2018, he had a great soccer season in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League. At the end of his season he was chosen in the All Stars MAPL selection. Xavier is the one who built up a play, he is very accurate on his long and short passes. He is really creative with the ball and has a very good vision on the field. He is a real game changer.
He has an excellent cardio, he is strong on his legs and loves to win those battles on the field. His decision making is extremely fast and he is himself very fast. Xavier is a great leader. He is serious on and off the field. He has respect for the game and for his coaches and his peers. He is mature and always stays calm on the field.
Xavier is a winner. He also plays American football Juvenile AAA 1st division (first league) as a wide receiver starter even if he's a recruit. He is an excellent athlete with a lot of confidence.
Furthermore, Xavier is a multi-language student: English, French and Spanish. Very good academic results in complex life schedule (4 sports teams). Xavier is in first rank in each academic course.
Xavier is smart and very well organized. He likes challenges, competitions and valued by the results. Strong team player, serious training and excellent communicator. Xavier is autonomous and highly self-disciplined.
