Jacob Gonzalez '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a holding midfielder that can play 6, 8, or 10. I love to get on the ball and dictate play, breaking lines of pressure, and contributing to my team in any way possible.  I’ve had 2 trials at Sporting Kansas City in 2019. I currently play at St. Benedicts Prep, having won the 2021 Prep A State Title. We additionally play against MLS Next teams such as PDA Academy u19, Queensboro FC II, Baltimore Armor, Gotschee, and New York Red Bulls. I will be playing with Cedar Stars Bergen MLS Next u19s for the 2022 Spring season.

In the summer of 2020 I played with New Amsterdam Football Club reserves. In the spring of 2021, I played with EFA Metro (US 4th Division), training with them and playing friendlies. In the summer of 2021 I did preseason with Kearny Scots Athletic Club (US 5th Division), additionally playing pre season friendlies with them.
