When I think about playing soccer in college I get excited about being part of a collegiate team that has a strong competitive reputation. I am looking forward to working with coaches and teammates that share my drive and passion for soccer. I want to continue growing as a player and individual while surrounding myself with coaches and teammates that are invested in my growth and me while I am contributing to the team. I want to be on a team that is passionate about the game and that functions like a family and works together. I want to have fun with my teammates while working towards a successful end goal. I see soccer as being interwoven into my college experience just like it has been throughout my life.
As a player I feel most comfortable playing center back. This position allows me to be very versatile on the field. It allows me to see and control the field and set up the midfielders and forwards for scoring opportunities. I also enjoy the challenge of beating an opponent to the ball. I like to use my height, speed and power to put me in the right spot at the right time to win the ball. Although this is a position that I have played the most I have also played as a midfielder where I also feel very comfortable.
