My primary goal is to obtain a solid, quality college education that will prepare me for further study, the job market and life. During my high school career, I have maintained a place on the honor roll. While continuing to do well academically, my passion for soccer has only increased.
Similarly to many others, I was introduced to soccer at age 6. What started as a means to get me outside playing with other children, has morphed into one of the central focuses of my life. I have progressed from junior league to high school Varsity. As the demands of the sport have increased, my enjoyment and commitment have also increased. I have played each assigned position with passion and a competitive spirit. I have not allowed my personal desire to succeed come before the success of my team. I have benefited from the experience of others and have tried to pass that spirit to junior members of the team. When I walk onto the field, I expect to win. I never allow my competitiveness to overshadow decency and sportsmanship on the field.
The lessons I have learned playing soccer have simply made me a better person. I am confident that I shall become an asset to my college and team.
