Henry Gomes '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, 

My name is Henry Gomes. I was fortunate enough to be able to play soccer at such a young age. Playing from travel soccer to club soccer was a huge transition. I started my club career very near and local to my hometown, Rutherford, playing for FC Broncos. Then, I was able to play for FC Gottschee where I won many awards and was to captain the side for 2 years. As I left the team, I joined Cedar Star Academy, where I have improved my game of passing and vision. For High School, I was put onto the varsity team since I was a freshman, starting and showing my stride From my experience, I have learned and examined the intense commitment, learning how to make sacrifices for the teams such as tactical fouls, and how to work together with a group of people, and creating team chemistry.  Looking toward my future, I am seeking a program that will be an asset to my education and soccer. In my opinion, I am a terrific prospect as I compete every day and work very hard.  Additionally, with my amazing leadership skills, my hard work ethic and the teammate I am. I believe I would make an outstanding impact on the program.
