I would like to take this opportunity to describe myself particularly my current situation and my goals for college. Academically I have come to really appreciate the importance of an education. I am really striving to become the strongest student I can be and my current grades reflect that aim. I have learned the importance of priorities and i have put school at the highest on that list. The feedback i have been receiving from my teachers has only pushed me harder to do my very best academically. I plan on taking that attitude into my college career and have realized that there is no limit to what I can accomplish.
Regarding sports, I am an accomplished soccer player. I have been playing since 4 years old, played varsity all 4 years of high school and have been blessed with natural ability but live by the mantra "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard". To that end my training is a year round pursuit working just as hard if not harder in the off-season as I do in season. I pride myself in being the player that only needs to hear a correction once and excel at motivating my teammates as well as myself.
My biggest goal in college is to be the epitome of the definition of "student-athlete". I believe that the two go hand in hand. Success in one is success in both and I look forward to proving that to you.
