My name is Charlie Hofacket and I am a high school junior at Deming High School in Deming, New Mexico, graduating in the spring of 2024. I play goalkeeper at our high school, and I was the captain this past season. I was the varsity backup my sophomore year and starter my junior year. This year I lead my team to the first round of the state championship.
I currently have a 4.33 weighted GPA and I am ranked first in my class. I am very academically inclined, and my education is important to me. Because I live in a relatively small and isolated town, I have not had much formal goalkeeper-specific training, and I am ready to learn and absorb as much information as possible from coaches and more senior players.
