Naoki Alfred '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a striker for Triboro United Soccer Club, born in 2007, and ever since I was young, football has been my life. 

My father taught me everything to know about football when I was 7 years old, and I have been playing the beautiful game ever since. I currently play in the top tier of New York Soccer, in EDP Division 1 and in the State and National Tournaments. I currently play against the top echelon of NY teams, having battled against many high ranking MLS NEXT and ECNL teams in tournaments such as the Potomac National Memorial Day Tournament 2021/2022, the Disney Cup Boys Showcase, the ECNL East Meadow Summer Tournament 2023, EDP Fall Showcase 2022/2023, and in many more competitive matches. 

Despite struggles with mental health during the pandemic, I trained hard to recover from my weakened physical state and through my love for the sport, I escaped from a dark time and managed to improve myself both mentally and physically. I have been playing the game despite adversity throughout my life in hopes of reaching the apex level of football in the United States. I love competition, and am driven by the passion of playing against stronger teams and opposition.

I am a 3 time EDP Division Champion, was top scorer and champion of the Bayern Munich Showcase Hosted By Princeton FC, (UNFINISHED).
Overall, I am looking to further develop my passion and love of the sport, and would love to continue playing at a high level in college.
