Colby Egan '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colby Egan I am currently 16 years old and a junior at Churchville Chili High School in Western New York.  I am an honor roll student maintaining approximately a 92 GPA. I am a center midfielder, primarily attacking. I have played three years of varsity soccer as well as playing for Chili F.C. a local premier team for 10 years.  My personal goal for the future is to find a college that suits me academically and athletically. 

My love and passion for the game has grown over the years and recently I have discovered that I am determined to play at as high of a level as I can for as long as I can.  When I have a goal I work relentlessly on and off the pitch as well as in the classroom to achieve it. Soccer has taught me many qualities such as how to work well in a team setting along with learning how to persevere in life. 

I am looking to attend a college on the East Coast however I am open and happy to consider any and all opportunities. At this time I am unsure of what I am intending to major in however I enjoy math and science and will likely lean towards a major in these subjects. Thanks to soccer I have developed good social skills that will enable me to fit into different settings and integrate with my peers well. 

When it comes to soccer I love scoring like everyone but finding the right pass to get my teammates goals gives me just as much if not more satisfaction. I will continue to work hard in order to further develop my level of fitness, knowledge of the game and overall skill. In conclusion, I aspire to find the right fitting college for my academic and athletic wants and needs. This includes a coach who will point out my flaws in order to bring out the best in me and a squad that I fit in well with.
