Conor Garcia '25 Recruiting Profile

Since childhood I have always dreamed of playing soccer at the highest level possible. I have been so fortunate because I spent my junior year of high school studying abroad in Spain which also gave me the opportunity to play soccer for Pathfinder in the Spanish Federation league.  Initially, because I was one of the youngest players on Pathfinder, I played on the U19 team but was called  up to play on the First Team.   Playing with older footballers has further enhanced my soccer game and my desire to play at the college level.    In college I hope to showcase my talents and become a valued member of the team. Some of my goals include winning a collegiate championship, develop as both a player and a person, and creating brother-like relationships with my teammates. I understand the importance of team bonding and believe this bond is vital to a teams success on and off the pitch. A team that works as a group, pushes and encourages each other, and is committed to hard work, will receive positive results on the field. I'm a good candidate for any soccer team because I provide leadership as well as a winning mentality that can help take a team to the next level. I'm different then many other recruits because I am smart on and off the pitch and work harder than other high schoolers. I'm also committed to becoming a stronger player and working to become the best possible version of myself. I'm excited to play at the next level and look forward to my collegiate career on the pitch. I know I can have a major impact on a teams' accomplishments.
