Lucas Fecci '19 Recruiting Profile

Dear Prospective College Coach,

My name is Lucas Fecci and I am a senior at Somers High School. I am a multi-sport athlete and strong student. I maintain a 3.3 GPA while playing soccer, basketball, lacrosse and volunteering for the Somers Leo’s club. I was fortunate to be named All American and Westchester/Putnam county MVP in soccer and All Section in Basketball. My goal is to play soccer for a great college while earning a degree. Currently, I have not decided on a major so I am open to all types of schools.

I have been actively involved in sports since I was very young. Tee-ball, AYSO soccer and recreational basketball became travel baseball, club soccer and AAU basketball. For my high school, I play soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring. Freshman year I played baseball in the spring. I am grateful for having exceptional coaches across my sports teams that were understanding and encouraging with my multi-sport commitments.

Every potential recruit you are looking at will have skills sets that include tactical play, speed, touch and the ability to excel at their position. While I possess these skills, my main strengths are coach-ability, unselfish play and field vision. I feel these other skills are what sets athletes apart. My highlight video is produced to display my skill set that I will bring to your program.

My ability to manage my time between school work, a heavy sports schedule, volunteering and my friends, will help me when I get to college.
