Mark Brandy Jr '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mark Brandy and I graduate in the year 2026. I’ve been playing the sport since I was 4 years old and I can’t imagine myself without the sport of soccer. My main position is a winger or striker and I occasionally play as a center back or center mid. I currently play for the Empire Buffalo Stallions in the NPL. My jersey number is 6. 

I value school a lot and is a top priority for me. Currently I have a 4.0 GPA. I excel in all subjects in school including science.

I am a very versatile player and can play wherever my coach needs me. I am a forward who likes to attack defenders 1v1 and also create opportunities for my teammates. Also when we go up in a game, I’ll drop back as a center back to help protect the back line. I am seen as one of the leaders on my team and someone that my teammates can look up to. I have a huge impact on every single game that  I play. 

Soccer is important to me because it brings me peace. Whenever a touch the ball or step on the field I feel free. It’s also taught me to persevere through challenges that you face whether  it be in the field or in real life. I can’t imagine myself without soccer in my life.

Through college athletics, I desire to be at the highest level possible as a student and as an athlete. I would potentially like to study fields in science or in the medical field in college. I believe that I can make a significant impact on and off the field.
