My name is Jadiel Castillo. I'm currently in my Junior year. Soccer' s been my sport since I was four years old. Throughout my years, I’ve aspired to play at a college level. Playing for college is a once in a life time opportunity, and could change my whole life.
In the past years I played with Soccer Kids NYC, Woodhaven Soccer club, and Resurrection Ascension Soccer league. I developed strong physical defense, mental toughness, and ball handling skills. I am a team leader and strive to be a hard working player and student.
While I haven’t been a part of a league in the last four years, I participate in open plays several times a week.
I previously attended Martin Luther Private School. During my time there, I was part of the National Honor Society, listed in High Honor Roll, and received a Presidents List award. I currently attend Academy of Finance and Enterprise. Because of an Injury, I was unable to tryout for the team this year. However, I continue to seek opportunities and participate in ID Camps. I believe that I am capable of achieve anything I set myself up for.
My Family is from the Dominican Republic. The game of soccer is rapidly growing across the country, and would be an honor for me to compete in college. I am open to all positions and want to ultimately find the right college match possible. I hope to serve as a great role model to my peers, in my community. Most importantly to prove to my myself that everything is possible for us. I am confident and ready for the opportunity.
