Growing up I always had a deep admiration for the game of soccer, I knew I wanted to be a part of my life. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to play and the fun and satisfaction I feel while on the field is something I never want to give up. It is a goal of mine to play soccer professionally on the world stage. Pele, one of the greatest most influential soccer players of all time once said, “Winning is never easy, but the harder we work for it, the sweeter the victory” and this has motivated me my entire life. This quote taught me that nothing in life will come handed to me and I need to work hard in order to get to where I need to be.
