My name is Kavi Giroux. I am a young Canadian soccer player with a dream of playing at the next level. I have been on the pitch since I was six years old and ever since I’ve fallen in love with the game. I currently play central midfield for the Soo United U17 boys club in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
My strengths on the pitch are my leadership ability and work ethic. I lead my team on and off the pitch. Not only communicating and directing teammates, however leading by example and doing everything to the best of my abilities. My leadership does not end once the game is over, I am determined to allow all of my teammates to succeed in academics as well. Providing help in the classroom as well. My work ethic is my best trait. No matter what time, or who I am with, I will always put in my best effort and do whatever it takes to succeed.
I am a strong student, averaging high 90’s in all of my courses. I received several academic awards in the past year, most notably the 2020-2021 valedictorian.
Mathew Fraser - “Today I will do what others won't so tomorrow I can do what others can't.” I have grown up with the belief, hard work is the key to success. This is something that I live by. I know that with enough hard work and dedication. I can achieve anything.
