Personal Statement
My name is Tommy Gillet, I started playing soccer since I was 7. My mom and dad played competitive soccer their whole life sparking my interest. I played 4 years at a local team in Rochester, NY called Rochester Futbol Club and we competed in GPS traveling around the U.S for tournaments and games against some of the best teams in the country. Now I currently play for a local premier academy, Rochester Lancers. This is my 3rd year playing and we competed in the USYS Great Lakes Conference this year getting 3rd in the league, but also gaining great experience playing very competitive teams. I also play for my High School, West Irondequoit High School. This is my 2nd year on varsity. I play attacking mid/false nine position, hold up play and getting in behind defenders is what I've been taught. I look to major in business and finance and am very interested in playing soccer at the college level.
