2020 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Being a soccer player, especially a goalkeeper helps me express my personality that makes me into the player and student that I am today. Being able to be calm under pressure and have confidence in my abilities on the field, helps me as a student by making me calm while taking an exam and confident in my school work. My ability to show leadership and work ethic has been acknowledged by many of my coaches and mentors throughout my playing career. The ability to be a leader on the field is an extremely important role because you have to be willing to take on the mental strain to diligently organize and communicate throughout the whole match. My goal for the near future is to play competitively at the collegiate level and find my role on the team to have a positive impact. I want to bring my team as much success and improvement as I can. I have high goals and aspirations that I am planning on achieving at the next level of my athletic and academic career. I am currently looking forward to developing and working towards new opportunities for the future, as well as to finish off the school year strongly.
