Ryan Trunkey '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I'm Ryan Trunkey, I'm a defensive midfielder for the 05 Wake FC NPL Team. I play as a defensive midfielder, and what makes me different from everyone else is that I'm a leader in my position for my team. Not only that, but I'm able to make strong aggressive tackles and I also have a very good insight on the game. I am a maniac when it comes to professional soccer so if you ask me questions like who won the championship in the 9th division of England, chances are that I would be able to name it. I'm not the fastest but I'm very technical, with passing being the strongest part of my game with defending being a close second. I also go to an intense school where it is all about sports, so much in fact that I play soccer for 90 minutes in the morning everyday being coached by great coaches including former NCFC player Santiago Fusiler and current Duke coach John Kerr. Overall, my passion and love for the game is unmatched and I have an cool, calm, and collected playing style that comes with it.
