Spain Niemer '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Spain Niemer and I am a senior at Charlotte Catholic High School (Class of 2014). My goal is to play college soccer at a university that has very strong academics to complement athletics. While I am looking for a competitive soccer program where I can contribute, a strong education is most important to me.

I have been playing at the highest club level for many years, including the last 5 years at the Premier level (including this year at the US Developmental Academy level). As a center mid and center back, I have the quintessential skills of passing, ball control, defending, and strength. However, my greatest attributes are my attitude and coachability. I understand the game well and readily perform any role that is asked of me. I have an unrelenting work ethic which complements my understanding of the game and field vision, enabling me to control the game from any position. These intangibles are what set me apart from other players.
