Hi I am Axel I am a current junior at Concord Academy. Since I was little, I think I was like any other kid wishing to kick around the ball and just have a good time in general. As I grew I realized that I want to do anything within my reach to make soccer my life. I should probably say profound about how good I am, but as much as I have my good qualities, I'm a pretty aware person that as much as I want soccer to be my life I also depend on my education, as things don't always go as planned. WIth this in mind in terms of athletics these next 2 years I plan on focusing on both soccer and my education, for now I'm thinking that far ahead because if by the time I go to college nothing happens, I won't look like a fool who said I'm going pro and it never happened. In terms of athletics within soccer I see myself as a person who thinks a lot on the field having awareness of my surroundings, though at times I do find myself stuck in between decisions and that's one of the things I need to improve. Besides this I show much passion on the field, in terms of aggressiveness I apply much pressure onto the opposition and have trained myself to remain at a consistent level throughout the match, without wearing myself out. This being said as much as play "dirty" I tend to be clean with my tackles, only sliding when necessary. The greatest asset I believe I can bring to any team and the one I'm most comfortable with is my spacial awareness defensively whether the opposition is on the counter or in a 1v1 situation. I mainly use speed to my advantage being put into these positions just waiting for the opponent to make his move and beat him out. Due to my height and body type I've been put around the 4 main areas in the center whether that be as a last man, center-defensive midfielder, midfielder, and center-attacking midfielder. Though my dribbling is not the best to say the least I'm a more simpler player not doing anything flashy, I tend to prefer to drift away from that center-attacking and main midfield role, unless we're playing double-pivot.
