Personal Statement
My goal is to attend a highly respected college or research University and play soccer for a competetive soccer proram.
I became a Christian when I was very young, and this has been the most influential thing in my life. It shapes how I play sports, form relationships, treat others and serve the community. I believe God calls us to do our best, and I try to live this out in all areas of my life. My goal is to be teachable.
My parents put me in soccer when I was 4, because they saw I had a natural drive to compete. I started playing club soccer at age 8, and have played ever since. Having older siblings who have accomplished great things has stretched me to find the things where I excel, and not just live in their shadow. My family has been through hard times, and we have had to persevere…this helps me on the field too. I think what is unique about me is adaptability, consistency and leadership. My parents and teachers call me a natural leader, so I try to make good choices for others to follow. I am determined to use these traits while playing collegiate soccer!
