My name is Vicente Estrada-Nunez. I'm from Zebulon, North Carolina. I'm part of the class of 2024 and currently attend North Wake College and Career Academy, which is an early college high school that is affiliated with Wake Tech Community College. Due to my school not having sports, I've played on the Wakefield High varsity team freshmen and sophomore year. This year I played for the East Wake High varsity team and plan to play there senior year as our team is manifesting a deep run in state playoffs.
My first 2 years of club and high school soccer were rough for me, but I believe that this early failure has made me mentally stronger, and I've learned from it. Coming off a really good high school season, I felt more confident than ever and I think I was able to show that during club season even getting invited to play with up teams with the ECNL national team at Jeff cup. Playing at so many different levels and watching soccer a'lot has helped me develop a high IQ for the game which has helped me in games to play faster. I'm aspiring to be the first student-athlete in my family.
For the 2023-2024 season I confident my hs team can win the schools first ever state championship and after the season I want to continue playing club but I'm also seeking to play in the UPSL with a local team to further prove that I can play good at a high level.
