My name is Grant, I have played soccer all my life and I love to compete with my team. I am a hard worker and am willing to take any criticism that will help me get better. I am not a selfish player and I like to assist just as much as I like to score. I am a very adaptive player and like to play different positions.
The club I have played for all my life is the Cleveland Force Soccer Club where we play in the ECNL. My primary position in club is defensive mid, I can defend and attack well and I can win balls in the air. I also have good vision on the field and can play through balls and switch the balls to put my teammates in better scoring opportunities.
My high school is Beachwood High School and my primary position here was attacking mid. I am also a good attacker that can shoot from far out while still playing through balls to my wingers and forwards to score. And even though I am an attacking mid I still make defensive plays to get the ball back for our team.
To help better myself on the field I do weight lifting and trainings on my own. My strengths in the sport of soccer are my strength, my vision, and my ability to keep the ball close to me and away from defenders. My strength helps me win balls in the air, body defenders off the ball, and make tackles. My vision helps me put my attackers in scoring opportunities and to get us out of pressure. And my dribbling helps me to get through defenders and get the ball down the field.
My dream to to play soccer at a division one level and I will do what I can to make it there.
