Mark McCloskey '24 Recruiting Profile

Since I started playing competitive soccer, I have always wanted to be a collegiate soccer student-athlete.  I've been playing soccer since I was 5 and started playing competitive soccer at the U8 level.  I strive to be the best at everything I do. I take my school work and grades seriously, I am a good listener and very coachable, and I have the desire to put in extra effort whether it is on the field, in the pool or in the classroom.  As a multi-sport athlete, I spend the entire year developing and challenging myself in different ways, which makes me versatile on the field.  I was also accepted into the Exercise Science program at the Delaware Area Career Center, and this has given me a greater perspective into how the body moves best on the field.  I want to bring my athletic ability, game awareness and exercise science background to a soccer program that will challenge me and help me grow into the best athlete and student on and off the field.
