My entire life has been based around sports, more importantly, Soccer. This sport has been a part of my life since I learned the alphabet. Soccer is pretty much my second language. I have played this game so long; I have the knowhow and the experience to continue playing soccer in my future. Since I was a toddler, my biggest dream was to play soccer professionally. Now that I’m a senior, I’m trying my hardest for that dream to come true. My next big move is to select a college to further my education and my soccer career. No matter what college level I choose, I will continue to play at my highest level. On the field you get to see a whole different side of me. I play each game as if it’s the last game I’ll ever play. A quote that would best describe my soccer ability and drive is “Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn’t work hard”. All my life I have been told I have the talent to further my soccer career, but what makes that even better is that I strive to put in all the hard work on and off the field. In my high school career; I have received some impressive accolades along with our team posting a 36-5-3 record in the past three years. We have won 2 district titles in a row and trying for a three peat this year. I was named to the all-county team my junior season with 3 letters so far and named team captain this season. But my senior year isn’t over yet, so I could be adding more awards to my trophy case. Although I am undecided on a major, I’m interested in psychology and computer engineering. I believe I can be an asset to your athletic program with my wisdom of the game, skill level, dedication and leadership abilities. This is why I would love to continue my education and journey to become a soccer superstar.
