I am ready and excited to take the next step into college as a student athlete.
I started playing soccer when I was three years old and it has never not been a part of my life. I have cherished the countless memories, I have loved being part of a team, and I have truly fell in love with the game. In all honesty, soccer elevates every part of my life. From school and my academics to my relationships with friends and family, I have noticed that my grades increase when I am active in soccer and that I grow closer to the people around me when I play. I am a happier person when the team is winning and when I am contributing. Choosing the harder, more rigorous, more challenging path has always been a part of me. Excellence is an inherent trait. I am ready and excited to take the next step into college. That step into an unknown world, leaving behind a boy and becoming a man in the game that I love while earning a degree to be able to make a living one day. Playing in college has been my dream since I joined my club team at age ten and I am determined to make it a reality.
