First and foremost, my goal is to continue to excel both academically and athletically at the collegiate level. I am committed to putting in the hard work and dedication necessary to achieve success both in the classroom and on the field/court. Additionally, I hope to be a positive and supportive teammate, someone who can be relied upon both on and off the field.
As for why I believe I am a good candidate for your team, I believe my work ethic and team-first mentality set me apart. I am someone who is always looking for ways to improve and push myself to be better. I also understand that the success of the team is more important than individual accolades, and I am willing to put in the work necessary to help the team succeed.
Finally, I believe that my character, athletics, and academics make me different from other recruits. In terms of character, I pride myself on being a good teammate, someone who is supportive, positive, and willing to put in the work necessary to help the team succeed. Athletically, I have worked hard to hone my skills and understand the importance of staying in top physical condition. Academically, I have been a part of the Advanced Placement Program in Canada and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and am committed to continuing to excel academically in university.
Thank you for considering my application to join your team. I look forward to the opportunity to further discuss my qualifications with you.
