My dream for as long as I can remember was to grow up and go to college to play sports. I was always told I couldn't because I live in Canada, but one thing about me is that if you tell me I can't or am not capable of something, I will work harder then ever to show you I can and that I can do it well. Ever since I found my love for softball I knew this is what I wanted to do. Playing on teams growing up is a huge part of who I am today, based on the environment of the sport, my teammates becoming family, and the joy and feelings of freedom and confidence stepping on the field. I am the most passionate person about my sport, and you will never catch me not cheering my teammates on, having low energy, a bad mentality, and I am never not encourging everyone around me to be the best version of themselves. Feedback and constructive criticism is what keep me on my toes and working to perfect my skills. I am so incredibly dedicated to working on and perfecting each of my skills, while still knowing there is always room for improvement in anything. I am a huge teamplayer when it comes to putting me where you need me, and always understanding you sometimes have to do what is best for the team, but don't think that will stop me from always being on my feet screaming and shouting for my teammates! As well as having good work ethics on the field, I have the same mentality when it comes to academics. Academics haven't always been something that comes easy to me, but setting goals and working towards those acheivements is what keeps me going. I am a very hard working, dedicated student, who will not back down from a fight and who always strives for her goals no matter who or what gets in her way.
