Sean Miller '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sean Miller, I live in Portland, Oregon where I am part of the 2022 class at Lincoln High School. I am currently playing with the FC Portland Soccer Academy in the U17/U18 team in the Oregon Premier division.

I have maintained a 3.61 GPA thus far while attending Lincoln High School and a 3.94 weighted GPA. Last year I took full International Baccalaureate (IB) classes, and this year I am taking four, thus taking the most advanced classes offered at the school. I am bilingual, fluent in Spanish and English. 

I have been playing soccer for many years now, starting at the age of five. I started playing in offensive positions, but by the age of ten I realized that I was much better at using my speed and strength in a defensive setting, and I enjoy the athleticism it requires as well as the vision and leadership needed to excel in such a position. I have started every game, in the center back position, on my high school team, which finished top 8 in the state this year, at the 6a level. I was also captain of the varsity team my senior year. I have also started every game on my academy team. Some of my favorite experiences this season were making a run at state with my high school team, getting selected as honorable mention for All State, and continuing to harness my skills through training and competitions! I have a showcase tournament coming up in Las Vegas, from March 10th-13th.
