Sisay Doerschler '23 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer since I was very young really helped me become an experienced and smart player. I’m a very coachable athlete and I dedicate myself to my teammates and my coaches. I am a hard worker and whenever I feel like I’m not at my best, I put in the work on my own. I can read plays (being a defender) and I’m an outgoing person.  I’m not afraid to talk to my teammates off and on the pitch. I’m an athlete that can make smart choices in situations and can deliver the ball when needed. I’m  quick on my feet and my ball control in tight spaces helps create opportunity’s for transitions and plays. I have played all over the field from defensive mid to striker and my sweet spot would be a CDM because of my endurance . Whenever there is a chance, I try to make big transition plays to try to set up my teammates with the ball.
