I have been playing soccer for 12 years. I have always wanted to play in college. I always had goals of attending a college that would give me not only a good sports experience, but also a good academic experience. I am looking to major in either Architecture or Civil Engineering. I have very good leadership skills, and am ready to take a vital role in whatever team I may play for. I was one of the captains on my high school team and was the team motivator in our huddle before each game. All the youth camps and college clinics I have attended, gave me the skills needed to be a college player. Through the years of playing soccer, I have gained a lot of knowledge of how the game is played and I am able to lead my team no matter the situation. This season I scored 3 goals and had 3 assists as the sweeper. I was supposed to be a midfielder, but due to a teammate's injury, I was moved back to a sweeper position. I love playing the game, and I've been playing where ever the coach needs me on the field. In my Junior year of High School, I was named to the 2nd team All League and I was All Division as a defender. This year I was named All Division. I was chosen to play in the Berks County Senior All-Star game as well as being chosen to play along with other top seniors in the county at the Reading United Fun League game where we play against Reading United players. I have 9 career high school goals and 7 assists since my Sophomore year playing on Varsity. I also play on a premier team called Amity AC FCA96. I play defense, midfield or forward for my Amity team. I do have several goals and assists on that team in the past 3 years of playing for them. I also helped to coach a youth U10 boys soccer team, teaching them the necessary skills needed to excel in their soccer careers. I am a hard worker who is very coachable. I adapt to the situation at hand. I am a strong passer who can control the midfield. I can also finish the ball with considerable accuracy and power. I am a very strong player in the air. I played baseball my Freshman thru Junior year along with my club soccer and high school soccer. Doing all these activities helps me to work on my time management. Thanks for viewing my profile!
