Matthew Saluga '16 Recruiting Profile

As a junior 2016 grad, a huge dream of mine is to be able to play for a college I love, along with studying either a major in Chemistry, Physician Assistant or Physical Therapy. I am an All-WPIAL (regional) player for High School and fantastic goal scorer and play-maker. I was brought up through Stars United FC where I have won 2 State Cups and have traveled across the region, as well as playing in England. Also, I have started my last 3 years for the PA West ODP Ryder tournament team. I kow play for Arsenal FC of PAW where I play with complete intention to play at the next level. I consider myself an extremely devoted player who is looking to make an actual difference in what I do. I don't just work for a win, but look to be an inspiration to my teammates. I have become better at this over the years as I have always been the youngest playing now in u19. I am also a well-rounded student participating in many extra science group and volunteering at my local hospital. I continue to strive in the class with a 4.0 GPA and 4.3 weighted QPA. I take AP and almost all honors courses.
