Personal Statement

In pursuing  my college education I would like to be able to continue competing in the one sport I am passionate and have loved playing for my whole life, soccer; while I am working toward a career in the health science fields, such as becoming a Physician Assistant.   As an athlete, I have been playing in the US Development Academy program at PA Classics since U-13.   Prior to that, I had played in various other travel clubs since U-8, and I also earned a Third Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo over the same period.  Although I was able to train to reach a national level of competition in Taekwondo, I stopped doing this a couple years ago in order to focus more on advancing my school work and soccer training.  On my current team, I have primarily been playing as a central midfielder, but I am also able to comfortably play as a fullback when called upon to do so.  As such, I would now like to find a school that will be able to meet my academic goals, and challenge me at the same time to take my soccer game to the next level.  If my qualifications interest you, please contact me to let me know.
