Colin Urquilla '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Colin Urquilla, and I am a current student at Antilles High School In the DODEA District. I am 16 years old, and a current starting goalkeeper for my U17 Puerto Rico Surf  team (Puerto Rico); My club coach is also the head coach for the U17 Puerto Rico National Team. I have been playing club soccer for 5 years, and have been playing the goalkeeper position for 3 years. Soccer is my life. I love it s much because it's a fun game to play, and am very competitive, but also like to have fun while playing soccer. My interests in fields of study are Sports management, and Coaching. 

I practice with my team 4 days a week, and have league games every Sunday. Every month I use to go to ODP Europe tryouts before I moved to Puerto Rico, and made the roster every year. I went to the Regional ID Camp in the summer of 2021 In the Midwest region (Rockford, Illinois), but unfortunately didn't make the next camp. This year, my goal is to improve as a player, and as a person on, and off the field. 

When I'm not playing soccer, I like to play basketball with my friends, go to the gym, and play video games to relax.  I want to create the best opportunities for my future soccer career, and hopefully play professional soccer in the future in Europe.
