Erik Swanson '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and it is the place where I feel the most passion and contentment.  As my level of play and commitment has grown, it has become my goal to continue to play soccer at the collegiate level.  I would like for soccer to continue to be a central part of my life and to be part of team of peers where I can contribute to others and grow myself.  I seek out opportunities consistently to improve myself, on and off the field, to achieve this goal.  In soccer, I play on teams where I play against individuals older than me to improve my skills, push my speed and challenge myself.  I also work out consistently beyond scheduled soccer practices in the gym and on the field to grow as an athlete and player.  I also have high aspirations academically that keep me focused on my studies and my career goals.  Finally, I look to be a teammate who works as hard as anyone on the team, while encouraging everyone else to be their very best.
