Personal Statement
Since I was 6 years old, I have been passionate about the game of soccer. The more I have played the sport the more I have come to realize my desire to play at the next level. Some of my goals in college not only include that of playing sports, but also achieving greatness in the classroom. Due to my drive to get better I spend 2-3 hours in the gym everyday as well as maintain a high GPA. I am as committed to my class work as I am developing as a collegiate athlete. Things that I would say set me apart from other athletes is my work ethic, willingness to win, teach ability, high effort in practice, and my integrity on and off of the field. As an athlete, integrity is extremely important to me in the aspect of being the best teammate I can be. A quote I really love by Mark Twain is as follows: “Your never wrong to do the right thing”. I firmly believe this quote goes hand in hand when it comes to being a student athlete. My faith in Jesus Christ has by far enstilled in me the correct morals and ethics in which I use on a day to day basis, which also separates me as a student athlete.
