Personal Statement
My name is Ethan Fawehinmi. I play for Southern Premier Soccer (www.southernpremiersoccer.org) and Fred J. Page High School in Franklin, Tennessee. When it comes to playing soccer, my speed and my ability to dribble in tight spaces while creating scoring changes are the most lethal weapons that I have to offer. This skill enabled and training regiment helped my selection to my high school’s soccer team as a freshman and a starter in my Junior year. There was a medical obstacle that prevented me from playing my sophomore year, I had appendicitis which sat me our for that year. I was able to recover quickly and procced to play the next spring. As for academics, I am always willing to better myself and strive hard to keep focus in order for me to achieve success as supported by my grades and GPA.
During 2020 summer I had the chance to work all summer with my club coach Brent Goulet, who is an ex US Men’s National Soccer team player, which I had big progress from. During that time period I have discovered that I am a quick learner. I believe that this ability will make a great addition to a team.
