Austin Jenkins '25 Recruiting Profile

Growing up I played many sports such as: Pee-wee Football, T-ball, Flag Football, Baseball, Basketball and Soccer. I was and still am a very active kid. I enjoy snow-boarding, water skiing, wave-boarding, surfing, drawing, playing cards (especially UNO) and playing Xbox. Since I was in the 6th grade, I decided to really focus in on Soccer. I tried out for two Club Teams here in Knoxville, TN, and made them both. From around that time, I've dreamed about playing in college and at the next level. I also made a promise to my parents that I would try my best and do my best to play a the collegiate level. And that I never wanted them to have to spent a lot for my college education, that I wanted to be able to provide some assists with that for them. Over the past two summers, I have worked a part-time job on top on soccer training and D1 training. I still intend to assist them as much as I can. 

Being a part of different teams over the years and through Club Soccer and High School soccer, has taught me to work with and respect more different types of people, some who are very different from me, some who are bigger and faster than me, some who just need to feel include and a part of team, and some who do not speak barely any English, this has been and continues to be very valuable in all aspects of life, inside and outside of sports. I continue to learn to have patience, determination and grit. You have to want something bad enough to continue to push yourself daily. 

I believe that I am a worthy team player, someone who will give you a 110% on and off the field. I am very patience player! I know I belong on your TEAM! I will promise to you and my teammates, that I will do my BEST, be my BEST and try my BEST!
