I am passionate about soccer and want to play soccer at the highest level I can in college. I am incredibly competitive about soccer, and constantly have a ball at my foot, even in my kitchen and my living room! I am quiet and reserved, but on the field I am tenacious and scrappy. My current coach refers to me as a "beast between the lines" because I will never give up on a ball until I win it or disposses the opposing player. I prefer to be the solid supporting player, providing excellent defense and assists, rather than scoring goals (although I scored many goals in high school).
Most importantly, I am very coachable. I thrive with coaches who like to explain the strategy of why we playing a certain way or using certain formations, and can adapt to that new style of play. While I play holding mid for my cub team, I am able to play other positions as well to help the team. In high school, I usually play attacking mid, but have also played forward and center back when necessary. The most important thing is to be on the field and make an impact.
I am a solid high school student at one of the highest ranked high schools in the state of Texas. I am undecided in major, although presently considering biology as a major.
